JobRadar legal

Privacy Policy

Who this policy covers

This policy explains how JobRadar handles information when you use its website or mobile application. The operator’s verified legal name, postal address and support email must be added here before public release.

Information we process

  • Account details such as email address and display name.
  • Your country, job-search Radars, locations, keywords, salary preferences and exclusions.
  • Matches, saved opportunities, alerts and application-tracking activity.
  • Basic technical, security and error information needed to operate and protect the service.

JobRadar does not require access to your contacts, photos, microphone or precise device location.

Why we use it

We use account and Radar information to provide the service you request: discovering opportunities, calculating matches, saving your preferences and delivering alerts. We use limited technical information to keep the service secure and diagnose failures. The intended lawful bases are performance of the service contract and legitimate interests in security and reliability; these must be confirmed by the operator before launch.

Automated matching

JobRadar automatically compares opportunity data with the requirements in your Radar. It may use deterministic rules and AI-assisted classification. A match is a recommendation, not an employment decision, and JobRadar does not make hiring decisions.

Service providers and sources

Supabase provides authentication and database infrastructure. Hosting, search, job-feed, email and optional AI providers may process the minimum information needed for their functions. Opportunity information may come from named job APIs, feeds and permitted public vacancy pages. A final production provider list and international-transfer safeguards must be published before launch.

Retention and security

Account information is kept while your account is active and removed when you delete the account, except where limited retention is legally required. Operational logs should be retained only for a documented security period. Credentials are stored server-side and are not included in the mobile application.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile and Radar settings in the app and permanently delete your account from Account settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. UK users may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
